Once you go Ape you will never want to ride any other way again , I know I would never ever go back to stock or low handle bars , looking good dude , congrats !!

Thanks for all the replies.

On the risers, I'm running stock risers. I ran the wires in the bars and they were predrilled and dempled to do that. Didn't have to drill anything. I did, however, have to dremel out the left side bar at the grip to make room for ALL THOSE FLIPPIN' WIRES to go in.

Looks good...and as I am sure Rubber Duck will attest to...you put a drivers backrest on your ride with them apes and it is comfy as hell. With the apes and the backrest I can ride at highway speed all day long. The backrest gives you a nice support as the drag or force of the wind pushes on you at higher speeds. You'll absolutely love it.

Looking good, BS. I can't wait to bump mine up to 16". Got the 12's w/4" risers now and they, too, are way more comfortable for me @ 6'3". Congrats!

The more that I read here the more I'm inclined to "go ape". I've got a few mods in mind right now that I'm working on but I think some 12 inchers may be in the future.
