reckless fairings 2 Years, 3 Months ago
I went to the reckless site and they had H/D fairings with or without their sterio for $299 & $699. I asked them why we could only get the R* fairing with the sterio at $699. At first they didn't want the trouble, but I told them it was their call but I would think the more of their product out there the better for them. Then I asked about group financing.........Wow now they are interested. nice bunch of guys. If any may be interested let me know maybe we'll get a group discount, :}

I'd be interested. Keep me posted on both options if they decide on a group price.

Are the mounts included in these prices? (I couldn't tell from their site.)

Thanks,

CSnakes

I still haven't got an answer if they are willing to go group on the without sterio or not. I like Bob I'm budgetless or nearly so without streio is the option I was looking for them to agree too. Yes both these come with all mounts as far Ias I could tell, but I will look again. I have the e-mail to who I was dealing with at home but I'll post it here tommorow.

One more thing I also have been e-mailing maxshen520, they sell fairing for Harley on e-bay. but after e-mailing him he has told me if I buy a fairing he can get me brackets made for $60 to crossover and work on Road star but like the people your dealing with the e-mails are far and in between one and other ,takes a long time to get question answered ? these fairing do not have stereo and our up on auction have seen them go under $200 you might want to get a hold of them to just to have a another seller to deal with. Sound like you are a guy like me trying to get best deal and I have been at this to for some time so letting you know again good luck.

I am interested in their fairing without the stereo. I am also very cheap. I just emailed them about weather it needed brackets or if they were included. Their website kinda sucks.

Stay away from the Invicta stuff being sold by maxshen520 on FleaBay. I got a set of saddlebags from him last year and they have the most brittle fiberglass I've ever seen. They also don't put any metal inserts into their products for bolts to secure to, instead they just use wood screws directly into the fiberglass. And their black paint or primer option? Can you say rattle can?

Needless to say, the latches and hinges on those bags didn't stay put very long with the wood screws. I ended up drilling out all the holes, machining my own threaded inserts and epoxied them in place. Once that was done I hauled them over to the swap meet and sold them for about half of what I paid just to be rid of them.

Re:reckless fairings 2 Years, 2 Months ago
I just googled reckless fairings and found it right away. The faring for the R* w/o stereo is listed at $399. Not a bad deal depending on how it's made.

Who'll be the expendable crew member and be the first to try on one?
