When I first saw the Strats I thought wow that is cool but it must be horrible as far as handling and maneuverability (yeah thats my big word for the day ) I recently took one in the shop and had to test ride it. All I can say is WOW...the bike feels more nimble than our RoadStars. I always like to see how tight I can turn a bike around and the Strat can be turned around easily in a 2 lane road. I am not sure how Yamaha did it, but it has the stability of a big cruiser and the feel of a much smaller nimble bike. Nothing against our R*'s they are still the best bang for the buck by far, but if money wasn't an option I would definitely have a Strat in the garage (next to my R* of course).
Thanks for the link...that has to be the ultimate touring bike! HD's look out!

I love that new Strat! If I didn't already have a RS, that would be in my shop.

Hi Tom,
Unfortunately it is on hold for right now. When digging the footings, I hit a spring and flooded everything. Got frustrated and had to rethink my location & building design. It is still on the agenda for Spring, but for now my poor RS is stuffed into a 17x17 shop along with tools, generator, lawn stuff, spare parts, ect. She looks sad...
Man, you have had a rough Winter, personally. I hope it is all behind you now and everything is good now.

You hit a spring ? We're rich. We'll start "fireman's H20" bottled water. Sure to be a hit (by the way, Les & I want 20% of the action )
