Got my first ride in today! 2 Years, 2 Months ago  
It has been a terrible Winter here in Iowa. But we got a bit of a break in the snow today, and it actually got up to almost 30 degrees!! So I had to get a bit of a ride in. Less than a half hour, as highway speeds made for a pretty harsh wind chill factor with no shield on. But came home grinning ear to ear. Satisfied that itch for now , but when is Spring gonna get here!!

Sounds pretty hard core to me. I make it a practice not to take my bike out until the salt is off the roads, and that is usually a couple rains after the last snow. Spring cant get to Indiana soon enoungh.

That's a beautiful bike, IowaRoadie! I like the flames.

I rode today, too (in MN). A get-acquainted ride with my new bike, just bought it today! It was cold but TOTALLY worth it.

I got a 50 mile ride in on a 50 degree day. Gotta love bikes. Not many things I will do outside in these temps.

Great that you got your ne w ride and did get to ride. Seems like the older I get the less I can tolerate the cold. I used to ride down to 32 degrees now it is hard for me to ride at 40 degrees. Enjoy it while your young guy!

Sometimes a good "polar bear ride" is good to clean out the soul. Roads were dry so was safe, but I have just been anxious to get out.
