WOW, gees Curt, glad your ok. probly only going 35mph hu?
atleast a brain bucket will sort of spread out the load of a head bang, and gees too bad the guys infront of you didnt point out that road hazzard before it caught you.

nice thing about a machine is it doesn't feel pain when it gets wrecked. sounds like you were really lucky. did you see everything happen going buy you move in slow motion?

hopefully, you had it insured for collision and they dont try to beat you up on THAT to bad. your body was lucky and probably you'll get it only taken out on your wallet.

rule of dealing with the ins co even IF they total it is the title. my friend got another $500 for the title AFTER they settled on the value of the machine. most people assume the title goes with it, and the ins co knows that and hopes that you don't know and just give it up. once they give you a value, get the dealer to also value repairing it. even if you don't rebuild that frame it is worth a small fortune in spare parts. way more than the totaled insurance co buyback.

good luck with it all.

why i have 100/300k on the passenger injury. my luck, something like that happens when i have a girl on the back!!!

Curt, I've only just logged in after working away for a couple of weeks. Sorry to hear about Black Ice mate but like others have said I'm also real glad you're still with us.

Dang, Curt,I sure am glad you made it out of that mess O-K. The bike can be repaired or replaced. Bottom line is you are with us in good spirit!

OK here is a picture of the side that BlackIce made. I saw the rail coming and layed the bike over to take the brunt of the crash and pushed myself away from the bike at the same time. The mayor of or town said he saw me push off. I sailed between the rail and the sign to the right. The bike went up th rail flipped over and the tank took out the rail post top and landed 4 foot from the creek.
