I just had a front fender assembly on my 05 due to a wreck. The fender cost was $790.66. Good luck getting your due

Man....man....man....

Posting a note makes sense...maybe somebody saw it and could use a few $ reward in their pocket. Can you find out if there is video? Was there a bank or convenient store nearby with outside video?

Good idea, you'd be surprised what someone might remember with a cash reward. I know I'd be willing to pay a few bucks for a little get back! Nowadays it seems there are camera's everywhere so the video thing is a definite possibility. Good luck man!

this is why i bought a cheap alarm with a movement sensor.

the spanish are dreadful drivers, and very careless. with the alarm, if a car starts to touch it, it goes off and everyone looks round so there´s less chance of them driving off without someone noting the number.

the alarm cost 70 euros and had no discernable power drain when turned on. well worth it.

Maybe it was someone in the riding contest. And they just figured out it's not the other brand of bike, and you have an unfair riding advantage.(no downtime). So they wanted to take you out.

If they had a PU with crap in the back sliding around, they may have taken the sound of your bike hitting the rear for the crap sliding in the back. That's why I said post a note for them to check their trucks. Maybe they will turn themselves in. If no luck, you know what to do.
