I picked up a pair of chrome switch housings on e-bay.

The came in yesterday so I installed the left side and part of the right side. Initial chrome quality is very good, same thickness and a perfect match to the OEM ones. All the screw holes match up perfectly.

Vendor was excellent to deal with and a very good international shipper.

Excellent product for the price.

I'm glad to see these are getting good reviews, I'm going over there tomorrow to pickup a set, along with a list of other things. Lucky for me these guys (Republic Cycle) are right across town from me and John seems to be a real nice guy, over the phone anyway. I can't wait, I've got a weekend of installing new goodies ahead...

I'm glad to hear you like them. I had my eye on these the other day and I think you just made my mind up.

I assume installation is pretty straight forward...unscrew the old covers and screw in the new ones, correct?

Installation is easy.

When you unscrew the contacts from inside the housing be careful of the horn and starter buttons. Both have a spring under them so you need to make sure it doesn't 'fly away'. I haven't done the backside of the throttle housing as you need to loosen the nuts on the carb to get some slack to pull the cables out.

I was anxious to see what they looked like but didn't have enough time before the game to rip it all apart.

Hell, the guys at work call my Roadie "The Bike That eBay Built"...

I've only purchased one thing (tires) NOT off eBay...
