If you put a dollar bill up to your exhaust and it sucks the bil back in as well as blow it out then your exhaust valve(s) is not sealing and it's pulling extra air in during your intake stroke. My FJ Cruiser passes this test. My Roadstar runs like a raped ape but does not pass the dollar bill test. My friends fuel injected Roadking does not pass the test either. I think that air cooled V-twins have a longer duration and overlap of the intake and exhaust valves to maybe help cool down the exhaust valves by letting a little more raw cold fuel run over them. That is just my thoughts about it, and has not been proven.
