Kenda Kruz tire update 2 Years, 3 Months ago
I just purchased a set of Kenda Kruz tires and rode about 100 miles on them last weekend. I had Dunlops on before, and let me tell you, the Kendas ROCK! With the Dunlops, the bike would follow road grooves and handled poorly, IMHO. When I first rode the Kendas I was a bit freaked out at first, because the bike handled so well, I had to get used to it. It tracks straight as an arrow on the worst road surfaces and corners like power steering. I run 38 psi front and rear Dunlops and Kendas. The price was unbeleivable as well, less than 150 bucks a set to my door. Here is the best outfit to get tires from as far as I'm concerned. (I am not affilliated with them in any way.)http://stores.ebay.com/CZ-POWERSPORTZ

I am in favor of Kenda Kruz I think that they are the best bang for the buck. I averaged about 12,000 miles for the rear on the OEM Dunlop, a Continental, and an Avon, got 15,000 on a Kenda Kruz.

I have had Dunlops on other bikes in the past, and never got more that 10 thousand miles out of a rear. After hearing good reports from you guys here on the Kendas, I opted to give them a try. So far, very satisfied with the ride!

How do Kendas compare with metzlers? Have run metzler for the past three years. Last tire change was both front and rear. Will be ready for a rear next. What will the ride be like if I run a Kenda on the rear only?

Don't know. I have never ridden on Metzler; their sole distributor is Parts Unlimited and any manufacturer who uses Parts Unlimitedas their sole distributor is not interested in having a small shop like mine having access to their product. I don't know how the mileage compares but Kenda is a lot less expensive!

I had Metzeler 880s on my Intruder and thought thy were good, way better than Dunlops. But the ride and price on Kendas? Can't be beat!

Thanks for the shopping tip... just bought 2 sets, 1 for me, and 1 for my best bud. That CZ Powersportz was the best price I could find!

You saved me a bundle, Boat, I owe you one!

Kenda Kruz....
