Did I miss the "No More Waving" Memo? >>> 5 Years ago
Been riding nearly thirty years...since day one, I have always waved to fellow riders and they to me...frankly, I've never known any other way. Now, it seems that it is too much trouble for a VAST majority of the folks I pass. Did it become "uncool" or something? I have been busy, maybe I just skipped the memo

I always thought of it as a noble gesture, like the original WWI pilots who, rathet than shooting at each other, waved. Then some smart ass got the idea to carry a pistol and the nobility and gallantry died...I sure hope that is not happening to motorcyclists!

Regards, Ted

I wave always,........but many don't. I don't get it , maybe they're cooler than me , but it won't change how I greet them, or wheather I'll stop to help their sorry butts if they need it.BB

I usually wave. Some wave back, some don't. Never kept track of who waves and who doesn't.

Could be that on a 'busy' day some just get tired of waving. It would be like waving to every Chevy or Ford.

Yes, it is strange...strange and sad that we even find it strange nowadays. I wave at people when I'm on my bike, when I'm at my front gate, or if they wave at me when I ride by. For those who don't, some have a reason I'm sure (I personally have difficulty waving at 80 MPH ), and those who don't, well, that's their problem.
