I'm talking parts from one would bolt up to the other. They were over $2000 at the Yamaha dealer. I could buy the replica for $550. That one I never had issues with. It was a good knock off if that makes sense. Thats funny, and not far off. HD abandoned a manufacturing plant that if I remember correctly was in China during WW2. I think they continued to manufacture them for a while from that abandoned plant. So someone, somewhere probably still has those pre war HD designs and manufacturing specs. I tell them that chineese equipment are "throw away" units; when you buy it for as long as it works that is nice, but when it starts having problems the thing to do is "toss it" and start over! I have had a sign made that says "scooters - oil changes (4 cycle) and tire changes only." Its a 250 and it looks ok. I think he paid 2k out the door brand new. It has a few weird things about it. It will link up via bluetooth with your phone so a light will flash on the speedometer when you get a call. Its chain drive and just looks cheep. All of the gauges no longer work and its only a month old. I told him he is stupid for that purchace. When it comes to 2 wheels quality matters. It's beautiful and can't really be distinguished from the real thing.... except that shortly after arriving home it quit running.
