I just bought a slightly damaged 2000 RS. The front end was mashed in and ad sat outside uncovered for five years. I didn't get as cheap as I wanted but I'm very happy. I'm amazed at how well this thing cleaned up. Now it looks like its been inside this whole time. I pulled the plugs and put some WD40 in the cylinders and just bumped the starter to make sure it would turn free. Then some full spins. Pulled the tank and used a squeeze bottle for a "clean" tank. Put the nasty plugs back in and it fired and idled the first turn. It has a K&N BAK, pipes with no baffles (yet), and not sure what jets. I want to get it running better while I'm chasing front end parts. What plugs are the best for this set up? And I'm sure one of you guru's knows the part #. I can't wait to make my HD and Vulcan buddys jealous.

I'll at least have to put up a pic of the tank. The top is mashed down almost flat from where the PO's crotch slid across it. Ouch!! There is a inprint on the seat from his jeans from where he flew off of it.
