I ordered one from here but they are out and back ordered. They said they would e-mail me when they come in so I can re-order if I still want it.

I put the dyna3000 on my 05 midnight silverdao best mod I ever did!! it raised the rev limiter to 5500 and now I can rev the engine to the right place before shifting. Stock I would putt out way before the engine was ready. I say this is a must mod right under pipes and rejet.
BTW Phat Performance had them in stock and I got it next day when I ordered!

I installed the dyna 3000 and dyna coils. Wouldn't have anything different. The reason the one store is backordered is because they sell them for 204 bucks shipped!!! That's around 50 bucks cheaper than anybody else. (another goody for the bike)

I also have a 2005 Midnight Silverado, I did the manifold ,rejet & pipes. I want to do the Dyna 3000, coils & iridium plugs. However I rememeber reading somewhere (maybe here)that the factory installed driving lights the Silverados have won't
work with any after market ignition module. Is that a bunch of hooey or is that true. I don't want to do any wiring (bypass) mods unless it's absolutely necessary.

Go to dyna's website and they mention something about passing lamps not working but I forget what year. They have more information you might want to read. as for bypassing it I am sure you could run right off your battery with an inline fuse and toggle switch.

I've got an 05 M. S. R* and put the Dyna on you have to pull one wire of the wire harness and ground it for your passing lamps to work mine only difference now they come on when you turn the key instead coming on after ignition mine came with instructions very easy. If you need them I can scan them in and email it to you.

Re:Contact Dyna 300 guy 5 Years ago
I dunno guys, I just bought a used Yamaha Speedstar module off of Ebay and my 05 R* rocks now! I didn't monkey with the stock coils (do I have to???), and I figure that Yamaha knows how to tweak the bike better than Dyna. Who really needs 8 settings, anyway? The rev limiter at 5500 rpm is just plain awesome, that is all that I can say. I dyno'd my bike before the module change and I was pulling 102 ft-lbs of torque then; can't wait to see what I get now! - Rod.

Post edited by: rodkoch, at: 2007/05/17 22:09
