Do you have more HP wit a little back pressure or straight pipes
I have HK with a self make restrictor in the baffles and it seems to have alot more get up and go than when I am just running the baffles. The problem is it makes it alot richer. Whic is better to run

There is a fine line to get the most out of these things. Messing with the baffles can be flusterating to say the least. Without dynoing after each mod you never know what you've got. I have messed with baffles for a while and I have torque chambers I make to get the sound and the performace I want. They create back pressure and give you sound but if you run without baffles or something to restrict the flow your low end will suffer. The engineers that design your pipes have the time and money behind them to get the most from a pipe. Thinker if you wish.
