Well it dynoed out a little lean worst point was around 14 air fuel ratio. But ie is pumping out 75 HP 98 ft lbs so I and going from a 172.5 main to a 175 or a 180, and the pilot is going to a 37.5 that should get it right on the money at 13.1 AF. Not bad for the first try HUH? BTW check out my Mr Cancilla's copy air cleaner.

It is a K&N and I had to order it Emo I will get the number and post it on this thread. The skull is a chrome stick on that I found at autozone. You have to make your own mounting bracket for the filter.

14 is not lean if it's cruise range, yes it's lean for WOT though, the info I used below to dial my carb in, I used an afr of 14 for cruise, and 12.5 for wot.

Operating Mode

Recommended AFR

Cold Start (first 30 sec)(choke). 11.5-12.5

Idle 12.8-13.5

Part Throttle Cruise 13.0-14.0

Wide Open Throttle 12.5-12.8 (values down to 11.5 may be used to reduce detonation)

the full article I used is here: http://www.daytona-sensors.com/tech_tuning.html

Re:Back from the Dyno 2 Years, 1 Month ago
I'm with Erb on this one . I used the #'s he posted and the bike ran great. On a test run @ 65mph I got 50 MPG. When I dynoed, the bike had a air kit,and stock stage 1 exhaust. It dynoed 68.03 Hp and 98.74 tq. I went a different route on the jetting than most. I kept the 182.5 main. I figured that if that was the main for the stock setup, regardless of needle brand then The bike can drink that amount of gas and will result in the best #'s at WOT. Then I did my tuning with a speedstar needle that is made for these bikes and made to use with stock size main. tuned the cruise range with changing the pilot to a #45. It needed a PMS adjustment after the dyno was done and did that with a gas anlizer. AFR was 13 WOT, and 14.2 at cruise when dynoed. I made a change to my needle with 1 washer and havn't had it rechecked. I will soon, now that I changed the exhaust and ported the manifold. I expect some good #'s
Good luck with your new Ice. I'm sure it will run as good if not better than the old Ice when your done.
