After replacing my stator, spending much of the time down on the cold concrete I have decided to look into a lift. I figure I spend most of my days bent over under horses (when I am not doing architectural blacksmithing) and I don't want to have to do that when I am working on my bike. Being able to work on my bike while rolling around on a wheeled stool would be glorious  . But what lift do I get that can handle my big 1700 safely? |

I have a $69.00 from Harbor Freight and works just fine. Where is Sundre AB, and where did you get that cool looking trailer?

I have the 1500lb one from Princess Auto, and it works like a champ. Can roll the bike around on it no problem.

I have the cheapo from harbor freight also. Works great and I like it but I probably wouldn't move it around much with the bike on it.

Have one of those also, and it works nice. Haven't put the Roadie on it yet but I've seen Goldwings on them before.

Would like to get a full lift table my self, for now I picked up a lift jack at Auto Zone it was $100.

i have the sears one for about 6 years now, no problems, but i know people with the harbor fright one and working as good.

I have the craftsman and another Northern Tool generic jack. I like the craftsman better. It locks automatically every so often and will go under my lowered bike without having to ride up on to anything. I actually borrowed it from my dad a little while ago and when it went right under the bike I called and thanked him for the new jack. He is between bikes right now anyway.  |
