Removing rear tire 5 Years ago
I have everything loose except the self locking axle nut. My questions, what size wench 29mm? And is it standard thread or reverse thread? Just want to know I don't have a wrench that big and don't want to buy a whole set of big wrenches. Any advice or pointers would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance..

I believe it is 28mm. I don't have a metric that size so I use my SAE 1 1/16".
Works just fine for me. Good Luck!!

I use a large adjustable wrench.

My other tools are a hammer and a screwdriver.

Re:Removing rear tire 5 Years ago
I am having withdrawals BB so that might be a viable option. I might have to get a big fan from work and set it up in front of me too . This happened late friday night. The next day was our annual ride for St Judes and I worked a table at one of the stops. Seeing the riders come in and take off was mere torture.

My new tire is scheduled to be here Wednesday. I hope I can have her up and running buy the weekend seeing we have another big trip planned. 3 day off from work with no riding would do me in.
