Bike looks great, something different than the heavily chromed out cruisers you see everywhere.

Is the Graphite Pearl a Yamaha color or did you have it painted? I was thinking of painting mine flat black, but I really dig that color. What brand of paint is it?

I like it...(most of mine chrome is black too).

What did you do to get the gas cap black? I've been looking at that on my bike trying to figure out something.

The color came out of a PPG cataloge. I don't even remember exactly what make/model it was but I do remember it was either Honda / Mazda or Toyota color. The name was Graphite. It's almost a dead even match with my wifes 08 Corola. We added what ever pearl we had in the mixing room. The pearl looks sweet in the sun.

I'll never be able to match it if I need to touch up any thing. We just kept dumping pearl in till it looked good

Stock gas cap!! just pull it apart like you would to pull the rubber plugs. Then give it to your local powder coat guy. ( 2 pieces a cap cover and lockset cover). My powder coat guy just happens to be a buddy who does it at home in his a garage in a household oven. Yea...no chit!) here in Ellington, CT. If you can get it apart he will make it black or whatever.

There is a tech article here that shows how, step by step on how to vent the cap. It's so easy even a cave man............................never mind ...no really

The details are well addressed. The tank cluster, bars, mirrors, and turn signal mounts really set it off. The forks really draw your attention.
Reminds me of my first Schwinn StingRay and a can a black paint! Very well done.
