I wear a 3/4 helmet majority of the time. Full helmet if I'm doing a longer ride on the highway. Need to protect the money maker!!!

I can't believe you wussies wear helmets, bunch of mommies boys. Oops my wife is looking over my shoulder. The one time I ride without my helmet guess who is behind me on the freeway? Yep the boss and she wasn't to happy. I have been wearing an HJC half helmet and put a snap on flip shield for rain. I road without the shield except for rain. I picked up a 3/4 HJC cl33 on CL and I really like this. This will be my regular helmet for now.

I wear a 1/2 helmet, I like the vision and all but lately I feel like I really should have a full face. I think about my wife and kids riding and for safety no doubt I would want them to wear full face. Why shouldn't I make the same consideration for myself? I may soon sacrifice a little creature comfort for some additional piece of mind (no pun intended ).

Wife and I both have Nolan 'flip' helmets. These have two visors (clear and tinted). I find on a hot day or when in traffic I tend to flip the front section up and ride open face but when it's raining, on long ride or cold conditions I ride with 'full face'.

We don't have much option in Oz. Law requires an Australian Standards approved helmet. So open face or full face is about all you can choose from, ... or go with flip helmet and get the best of both worlds

I wear an HJC Racer II 3/4 helmet w/ a cheap plastic shield on cold and/or rainy days. It's one of the few open-faced helmets that are Snell 2000 certified & is very comfortable on my large, oddly-shaped noggin!

I use a Nolan N100E modular; I've had it for ten years now, and besides repainting and replacing face shields the thing's lasted all this time.

I use it all the time. Can't remember where, but I saw a series of photos of a guy who landed on his chin while riding his bicycle around a parking lot ... not pretty. My chin ain't so pretty right now but I'd prefer to keep it

The modular because I wear glasses and just don't like having to squeeze them into when I have a fullface on.

I use a modular helmet, particularly for high-speed intestate travel where there are more cagers being brave (read "careless"around me.

I talked with someone that rode back roads, they told me about their meeting with a deer that tried to jump OVER the bike and landed on the gas tank. Deer, Bike and ride all went down. The State of Illinois bought the helmet (Full face) to use as an object lesson. Had that been me with my Half Helmet . . well let's just say I would be as 'pretty' as I am. I, too, ride a lot of back roads and with this bought a HJC FS-15 Carbon Fiber full face and I love it! On the warmer days, take out the cheek pads and you really get a lot of air flow. AND it will extend my riding year.

Here's to you
