BlackIce is on the mend. 2 Years, 1 Month ago

Well got my Barons bobed front fender today and pulled a lot of the busted stuff of her and put the t-bars on. Still have to change the case that holds the decompression solinod on, put the pipes on and a few other things. I am going to tear the front end down check the bearings and get rid of the tins. Need to take all the stuff off the old tank and put it on the new one. Shouldn't be to much longer and I'll be able to crank it up and see if it is OK.

Well your original plan was a bobber/bagger combo...not sure that was the path you intended to take but the end result should be great and now you won't have to do all that fender swapping. It looks a lot better than I thought it was going to. Keep the pictures coming.

Yes it isn't bad once you get all the busted stuff off of it. I need to tear the forks and tree down and make sure everthing is OK there. That is what too the biggest hit. The windshield, tach, handle bars and the back rests and sissy bars are what got it. The pipes and the decompression solinod on the side. So all the stuff I had for the bobber fenders will still work for me.

Already have a set of Bub Stubbies like the ones I had on it. All I need to do is get the heat shields re-chromed. I have two sets of slash cut tips and a set of turn out tips plus a set of torque chamder for them. Thanks for the offer. My garage is starting to look like a R* parts store and I am running out of room.

I'm realy glad that your getting your ride back together. I know what the attachement is like and the pride you develope. I broke an intruder a number of years ago. I don't know what was the worse off, me or the bike. I'm glad it's going well for you. Your original was slick...looking forward to pics of the new Black Ice.
