Stratoliner Tires 2 Years ago
Anyone know where online I can find a Dunlop D251 190/60R17 Tire.

I can find bridgestones but not dunlops. My Dad rides a Strat and hes run both and gotten way more miles out of the dunlop but NOBODY carries them.

They do not offer 190/60R17 size. Seems like the only place i can find them is in the UK

Check with these guys on this forum.
http://forums.delphiforums.com/starroadliner/start
Many of these guys went to a 200 Avon tire that fits the stock rim and they are getting good miles out of them but better yet the bike handles better. I had a Stratty for three rears and the best I got out of the Bridgestone was 7,400.

On my Liner, I run a Dunlop D-407 200-55-R17 on back and an Elite 2 on the front.
The D407 is dual compound and just lasts and lasts.
The Elite 2 is cheaper than the spec tire and the profile lightens the steering just enough to make it even more sporty. It also is lasting very well.

The stock tires are crap. Another Liner owner in the area has an Avon 200, but hasn't been able to rack up the miles since he installed it, so we can't compare yet. I'm on my second D407 and I'm sold.

One downside to the D407 is that it's got HD shields and logos all over it. The guys in the shop at the Yamaha dealer were threatening to use a yellow paint pen to highlight my tire for me.
