2000 Roadstar 1600 or 2001 roadstar silverado 1 Year, 11 Months ago  
guys, need your advise my brother told me of two bikes that are for sale. one, is a 2000 roadstar with 7500 miles and pretty much stock for sale for $4800. The other, is a 2001 silverado, new tires, v & h long shots, k &n air, mustang seat, recalls done, 25,000 miles, $5000. Which one should he get?

I would get the one I liked the best. You will get more bang for your buck with the 01. 25k miles is not alot for a roadie!

I'd look at both. Then go from there. The '01 sounds like the getter bargain because of the add-on's. And it may have the chrome front end.

Dicker on the price, bet you can get a few hundred off either one.

I have used several different makes on the Roadstar, I just replaced the worn out Metz ME 880 WWW with Shinko 777 WWW (WWW=Wide White Wall).

get the silverado.....more options ...and chrome..whwich you will probably buy for the other one anyway
this way ya save money

although ride both ..see which fits best
