I'd like to look into getter a trailer for our RAV4 to take the bike in tow on vacation. Who makes good bike trailers?

Seems like a lot of money for that trailer in a bag

This is what I use... Bought for $650 then installed a wheel chock in front that flips over and holds front wheel while you tie it down... just pulled it 2800 miles with bike with no problems! I dont't know how your Rav4 would pull something like this? My truck is a 5.0 V8. and pulls it with ease...

A Rav would pull any of the light weight tilt or drop gate trailers. That's what I would do. Then you have a handy trailer to use for other things. A bike trailer is just a bike trailer.

You would probably want something lighter than what I am pulling.. mine is a heavy duty trailer with 3500# axle, bulldog hitch, and is built with heavy Iron... it is not light. I need help to lift the tongue, could do by myself but don't like to strain that much!

I bought a used heavy-duty trailer with a one-ton axle. It needed a couple of floorboards replaced, and I went over it with a high-speed grinder and wire brush. Then I Rustoleum'ed it. The PO had put new 15" tires and wheels and lights on it. It is great for my Roadstar, and doubles as a utility trailer. Total cost: $400.00. It pulls easily behind my 6-cylinder Hyundai Santa Fe. I am constantly loaning it out. You don't have to spend a fortune to get a great trailer. The 15" wheels and tires are a great inmprovement over something with 8 or 12" wheels..

I'm considering this one for $1,099 from Tractor Supply:
Tractor Supply 5X10
It's a utility trailer so it can be used for much more than just hauling my Road*.
