I don't mind riders I just don't have 'em very often. I also don't like how my bike looks with a rear pillion. Got me a lick-n-stick(actually you shouldn't lick it before you stick it) and it works well as long as there's a bum to hold it down.

I learned the hard way not to stick it on without then putting a passenger on it. I think my original seat is someplace on the side of I-20.

To answer your question though. You get used to not having the rear pillion and just hang on!!

I took off my *stuff* to lighten and change the look.

I kinda like it without all that on, but miss a place to hang my backpack full of work stuff and laptop.

Saddlebags!

With my solo setup, I just grip it and let it rip!

I dont like having saddlebags on my bike but they always come in handy..if i want to ride to work i have to put my stuff in there,i have put the solo seat on since i first got the bike.. i still have all the stock stuff if i need to revert back to it but i love to ride solo..my girl has her own roadie so there is no problem there..

I ride with solo stock seat occasionally as well and found the same thing allthough I kinda liked the sensation, I also found it tiring bout mid way through the day. So I invested in a backrest and love it had to take a little shit from my club bros. about it but owell I ride with or with out the pillion on but always with a driver back rest. Really shuts the brothers up when were cruzing down the road and I look like im sitting in my recliner lol.

Get a seat that has more of a bucket shape to it, the stocker is rather flat..................

I keep trying to tell my wife she needs a R*. She knows it will be for me to use w/o saddlebags and windscreen.

I went to the solo setup a couple of months ago. There is a different feel to the ride and it takes a few rides to get used to it. It also gave me an opportunity to blow more money on chrome.
