So what's our favored brand of spark plug wires and coils?

What are you worried about that for? You have an 09 right? by the time you need new coils and wires, the favorite will be different by then anyway.............

On a serious note tho, it's interesting to see yamaha putting them in the stock 09's

How often do you change iridium plugs compared to standard plugs that we replace
once a year? You guys do replace them once a year, right?

I used to replace the non-iridium plugs once a year. They didn't really need it, but I did it anyway. I'm planning on going at least 2 seasons with the iridiums. I'll check next year and let you know.

The iridiums in my truck have gone over 100k and still running like a clock.........If I put them in my bike I would probably never have to do it again.......
