solved that problem with buying the other half a bike of her own, now the only problem is when there is cash for the chrome it has to be split up between the two of us but at least we both like the same kind of shiny toys now

Oh yeah she knows. Online banking so there's no secrets on what comes is. Going out though depends on the number of digits.

$xx.xx = Just some stuff I bought.

$xxx.xx = Something was broke and I needed to fix it, or something shiny for her.

$x,xxx.xx = Me in the doghouse.

I'm actually thinking performance first. I have a Dyna 3000 module. I want to upgrade to Dyna coils and wires, Iridiums, a ported intake, and a BAK. Next is 16" apes and cables from Clifford. Then maybe some chrome. Lotsa fun!

You have a 1700, right?

My opinion (worth about what it costs):

Dyna 3000 - Never tried one, but higher rev limit is going the wrong way with our thumper motor.
Dyna coil & wires - Unnecessary if your existing coil is still good.
Iridiums - Good choice
Ported intake - Another great idea
BAK - Oh yeah, a "Must Have"
16" Apes - Gonna look great

I'd do some custom wheels. On your bike they would be a flashy addition.

Chrome won't make you go any faster. But, there's nothing sweeter than a slow roll, all sparkly...

Yes, it's a 1700. So coil and wires not worth it? Seems like reading other posts it would be a good upgrade. Any other opinions?
