Head light bulb 4 Years, 11 Months ago
Hi all

I changed my headlight today the low beam blew out. The bulb has a base and it can only fit in one way there are three arms and the arms have to fit into the base holder, which I did I then put back the rubber boot there is a marking that says top I lined that up with the head light glass that says top. Put it all back and it seems when I look at the headlight that the bottom half is not lit. Do you need to adjust the head light after replacing the bulb?

Thanks

No. Unless you installed it incorrectly, which is possible but unlikely,It is probably the low beam that looks that way, yes? The high beam definitely "fills out" the headlight completely.BB

Thanks for the response
Your correct low seems that way and high fills it out. I went outside to take another look I believe it is ok.
That is the second bulb to go in four years I seem to get on average two years out of the head light before it blows. The passing lamps which are on all the time are four years old and still going. I should not have said anything I will jinks myself.

Thanks
Ron
