Kai,
The New Kaidallac looks Kick ass, I like it . Nice job, and it seems like you got plenty of LIGHTING in the rear for a possibly safer ride...

Kai - Looks awsome.

I too want to know about the saddle bags and trunk. I am thinking of ordering some and would like a review of them if you can.

The ABS Plastic isn't as thick as our OEM bags but these will do...Just have to take care of them. The Saddlebags come with the Brackets but I suggest you go another way. Unless you like alot of spacce between your bags and fender, also I intially bought ghost brackets to use on the saddle bags but they move the bags even further away from the fender...so I took them off and used the brackets that came with the bags. Hope that helps...otherwise I'm happy about them compared to the cost of new OEM bags ( about 1000.00 bucks )

The pictures I showed are the touring version of the new "Kaidillac". This is the solo rider version... I do use the Kaidallac for long distance so when I go cross country I use the Roadstar. Though I've ridden the VStar 1100 to Colorado...

so what did you end up paying for the bags and brackets if you dont mind me asking.

alittle over 300.00 for the bags. They came with brackets of their own. The ghost brackets were a little over 200.00
