We have almost 28,000 miles on our 04 that was purchased as a leftover in June of 05. No problems to speak of. Hey Coolage, have you moved your clutch cable lately? I ask this because one time I moved mine to clean the back side of my windshield and it was put into an unnatural position and caused my clutch to slip. It freaked me out until I moved it back to it's normal position. Just a thought.

No I have not moved my cable. I have about a nickle worth of play in the cable. The new friction plates and pressure plate are laying on my bench ready to install. I have also purchased a Roadman camper and will be pulling it more on trips. I went with a Barnett pressure plate to make sure she locks up. I am anxious to install them.

Bought my '04 in '08 with 6500 miles on it and its third owner. I just went over 20K earlier this month. The bike does not even look the same. I wonder if the last owner would recognize it? I have no plans on letting it go.

'99 with 37,000. I'm the second owner. It is a daily driver. I installed the Warrior heavy duty clutch spring, due to minor slipping, with very little change in pull. I run Valvoline 20w50 dino and change it and filter every 3,000. I this bike!!

I have an 04 with 12000 miles on it....only thing I had to replace was a burnt out bulb on one of my passing lamps.

05 Silverado bought in 07 with 1100 miles. I now have a tad over 28,000 on it. Had a case of SVS when I bought it. Rejetted and adjusted the float......no problems. Replaced one of the running light bulbs. I change the oil every spring with Mobil 1 V-Twin 20w-50.
Still have original drive belt. On my third set of tires.

Bought my left over 06 in Feb of 08 with 0 miles on the clock and just about ready to roll over 32000. Regular maintenance is the key, no problems or replacements other than tires and snapped the drive belt in Stugis this year which had 29000 and some change on the odo.
