I have a Tractor supply 4x8 trailer and I`ve hauled my 05 plenty of times.The first time I hauled it the rear fender tip rubbed on the tailgate.I discovered the bike was moving around whenever I hit a pothole or major bump in the road.The fix is to load the bike off center to the right.,and park it in gear,kickstand down,handlebars locked.Use good sturdy tiedowns and compress the forks 1-2in.I don`t use a wheel chock,I use a plastic coated bike chain to padlock the front wheel to the front rail of my trailer.Two tiedowns to secure the rear of the bike and one more thru the rear wheel.No movement!And to keep the fender safe place a small pillow between it and the tailgate,although after your bike goes up and down over the the tailgate the gate will sag enough to where you no longer need it.Good luck!
