#307603 Jona (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 4016 New Mustang Seat 1 Year, 8 Months ago   I think I burnt the fudge again....my new Mustang Seat feels like a "Nag"...not happy at all with it, except for the backrest....pushes me so far forward that it gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Petcock", man, talk about getten intimate with the fuel tank, woe is me, I had better look up the return policy, or, take a hit and sell 'er on line, (Wide Touring Model with studs and concho's) I think they would be a perfect fit for someone around 5'-9" or less and well under 200-lbs, I am 6" and 220-lbs, they are constructed well and a damned fine seat, but, just not built for me....damn, I hate when ya can't try something so expensive before buying it....going to look at the "Ultimate" seat, if anyone has any complaints about that one whatsoever, please let me know   Logged     Ride till ya get there, and, drink till she\'s cute   The administrator has disabled public write access. #307605 Agpilot (User) Gold Boarder Posts: 774 Re:New Mustang Seat 1 Year, 8 Months ago   I am 6 ft 4in. 240... Felt the same when I got mine but have been riding it for about 4 months. Moderator Posts: 12511 Re:New Mustang Seat 1 Year, 8 Months ago   If you don't like the Mustang the don't try the Ultimate. I have the Ultimate and love but it pushed me forward too. It took me a while to get used to it but I love it now my buddy has a Mustang on his 1100 and it feels the same. I am 165 lbs 5'-8" so take it for what it is worth. Your best bet may be to take the OEM seat to a shop and have it custom done for you. I took my OEM seat and cut it down and added memory foam to it. The Gel Seat pad for $20. I can now ride on my Mustang seat for 7 hours without issue. And a side note, the backrest on the mustang seat does nothing for me lol. In all honesty, I should have kept the stock seat.
