I have the same seat and been riding on it for 3 years. Never could get used to it but still better than stock. I am 6 ft 200 lbs. Past weekend went to Branson and got a Sheepskin cover for drivers seat. Made my boney butt feel much better. Give it a try

Thanks Guys, i'll throw my airhawk on er' till I figure it out, don't have the jack right now for an Ultimate, and if that has an aft wedge on it, it won't work for me anyway, be cheaper to re-build the Mustang

I am 210 lbs and 6' tall with a 32" inseam, and have had the Mustang for 3 years. When I first put it on I felt like I was sitting on a narrow slanted wooden bench. I thought this really is not what I had hoped for. After about a week and a few hundred miles I put the stock seat back on and it only took a ride around the block for me to put the Mustang seat back on and it has been there ever since. I also have risers to move the bars up and back and it is like sitting in a big recliner when I go down the road. With the Mustang a 600 mile day is pretty easy and 300 is just getting warmed up. My suggestion is give it some time.

I think I burnt the fudge again....my new Mustang Seat feels like a "Nag"...not happy at all with it, except for the backrest....pushes me so far forward that it gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Petcock", man, talk about getten intimate with the fuel tank, woe is me, I had better look up the return policy, or, take a hit and sell 'er on line, (Wide Touring Model with studs and concho's) I think they would be a perfect fit for someone around 5'-9" or less and well under 200-lbs, I am 6" and 220-lbs, they are constructed well and a damned fine seat, but, just not built for me....damn, I hate when ya can't try something so expensive before buying it....going to look at the "Ultimate" seat, if anyone has any complaints about that one whatsoever, please let me know
Mustang has a 30 day return policy. If you bought it directly from them and it hasn't been 30 days send it back. If you bought it through a dealer it is up to the dealer; you have to go through them.
I have an 03 whiich I got in 06 it came with a Mustang seat and I love it! The bike came with 7,000 miles and now has 58,000. I am 6'3" and 245 lb. The Mustang backrest is the greatest! It stays up or stays folded down; very easy to get on and off.
