not a chirp but a whistle 2 Years, 8 Months ago
o.k. it is not a pulley or the belt i know this since it only makes the whistle when the bike is stopped no matter weather i'm in gear with the clutch in or in nuetral, now here is the catch it happens when i goose the gas.(yes i am one of the a-holes that like to gas the bike while sittin at the light. if i have to hear your music you have to hear my pipes )

can it be the bak suckin air in? it has always done this since i first got the bike even before i did the topend so i know it is nothing i did

Well if it's a whistle. . . .and not a growl. . .it's HAPPY if it were a growl it would be sad

I know. . .but I couldn't resist!!

Mine does the same whether at idle or going down the road. . .it took me awhile, but I got used to it and kinda like it. I could find no vaccume leak. . . .what BAK do you have? I have the Kury . . . just wondering if it was the BAK sucking air.
