Well, I was going to a retirement luncheon for my boss today, just doing our thing enjoying the food and laughing about the years that we've know each other. Some guy come running in asking who rode a Harley, I knew it had to have been me, no HD here but with the bags and fender, it's pretty hard to tell if you don't know your bikes. I get up, head out to the parking lot and on the way out catch a glance of my bike laying TIRES UP... Not a good feeling at all, of course, there is nobody around to take responsibility. Three of us grab hold and pick up the bike, gas and oil is all over the place.

Some A-Hole whipped into a parking spot and decided their car looked better there than my R*, then up and left without saying a word. Bags are jacked, rear fender was just shaved and painted a few weeks back, now it has to be done again. Both mirrors are busted, front fender dentd and needs paint, new single arm shifter looks like crap, bag mounts bent out of whack, left passing lamp is chrushed. I also just got the Dooley's on Sunday afternoon, noe the right tim is smashed and the left side is pushed in and bent toward the bike. On a good note, the tank didn't take a hit, the apes, passint lamp, bags, and the truck next to me took the majority of the blow.

What I would give to have seen the spineless weasel...

It was immediately turned into the cops, she was oblivious to the amount of damage. Doesn't really matter, she was just doing her job and I respect that, I'm a "boy in blue" myself. This just came at a bad time, only 30some short days until I leave the country and I was hoping to get in as much ride time as possible. Oh well, there will be plenty of riding time when I get back.

What's the possibility of parking lot cameras or security cameras in the area?

sorry to hear about it but lets turn it in to lemonade.....pull the motor, chop the frame, rake the neck, go ape-sh8t!!!! See what you can get from your insurance and go for it. Or if not much from them do it anyways since a wrecked bike is like a free pass to custom ride land!!
Oh and if you find the guy that did it don't touch him....call some of us.

We were at an off base restaurant, I'm heading back that way in a few, I plan on checking with the surrounding stores/restaurants to see if any of them have a camera that may have been pointed in that direction.
