#311154 Rubber Duck (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 193 Crashed!! Now I'm laid up 1 Year, 8 Months ago   Was out riding four wheelers w/ my fire dept shift and tried to climb a hill that was too steep and the atv flipped over and pile drived me. Broken pelvis(plate n few screws to fix),dislocated hip and a fractured collar bone.Cant put any pressure on my left leg for 3 months.Doc said will have full recovery and have no problem being a fireman again.Cant wait 2 get back to work. missing the best riding season here in northwest Iowa but guess I am just happt to still b here.The outcome could have been worse.Was wondering if anyone here has had similar injury and how was your recovery and outcome.   Logged     Last Edit: 2010/09/23 21:20 By Rubber Duck.     The administrator has disabled public write access. #311155 Jona (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 4016 Re:Crashed!! Now I'm laid up 1 Year, 8 Months ago   I've had some pretty bad four wheeler wrecks myself, the one before my last one was the worst, took me about a year and a half before I got back on one, gota respect those allot, probably more than a motorcycle, because usually on a street bike you have to watch out for the other idiots, on a four wheeler, your the idiot.
