I would not suggest the 90 degree stems on any Bike. Unless metal, but for me, not even then.
I would also can the White Wall Idea. IMO asking for problems and lots of them. Just trust me on that one. I have done a lot of reading on the subject and just what I remember reading.

I have a metal 90 on my rear but no beads. Used the spoke weights. Anyway i did see a place online that made specialty white walls but their email didn't work. I don't know if i would try anything other than a tire made with white walls just because of the pain in touching them up if the white started to come off. jmo

I would suggest bringing that up to 40psi. I have gone thru my share of Metz tires, approx 150k miles between 2 bikes, be much better with a min of 38, but I always kept mine at 40 and 42 for the rear. I get 30k on the front, and consistently 15k on rear on the Roadie, and on my 1100 ACE 23k f and 15k rear. No idea why the ACE got less mileage tho on the fr. I always changed just as they hit the wear bar

If you run Bike tires, They are good 1st half of life, then seriously reduced traction and reliability fromt here, After 25K on a Darkside set up, Your still at 100% traction and safety. And, you can go from West coast to East coast and back and still have good tread.
making tires is same as cake, some days the batch is great and some days not so great, When you buy tires, you have no idea what batch your tires are from. If you ever watch them being made, and see machine problems and such, you know what I mean. It's all about passing QC, if it passes, it's sold.

My favorite question that I get asked is about "How does it corner?" I tell them "Better than the M/C tire I had before did" I also explain that you spend about 90% of your time on the "Flat" of the tire, not the sides, and that's how this tire gets such good traction and wear.
