Have Progressive too. It was recommended by auto insurer, USAA, so I trust what they told me. However living in Houston....has me wishing I lived somewhere remote.

I had Progressive for several years and due to some bad habits had to have the wonderful SR22 on my insurance. It never crossed my mind that they would not remove the high risk portion of it once the required amount of time had past. My only complaint with them is that they carried the high risk part on for several years after it was supposed to be dismissed. And when discussed with them they made no attempt to make it right. Other than that I think they were alright.

Progressive beat every body here in oklahoma. My premium actually went down last year and they raised the amount of covered assesories. My 06 is getting old enough i may drop back to just liability this time depending on the price.

I use USAA for everything. . .and last year they quit insuring motorcycles. . . .and they have 'subcontracted' (I think) Progressive. They're awesome. AND I have road side assistance. Just under $200 a year in IL

A year and a half ago I checked prices on every company that I could find on my autos and bikes. As much as I hated to do it, I joined AARP to get their auto insurance because it was so much less expensive.
BUT, they were the highest on motorcycle insurance of all of the companies I checked. Just to insure my Venture with them was as much as insuring all three bikes with Geico who I ended up going with. No claims yet (and I hope there never is) but we'll see.

I have mine buried in my State Farm account. I have the house, 2 cars and the bike with them. Overall best deal and I really want it all with one firm so there you are. I do check up on them every year to make sure they are in line. My 05 roadie does cost me more than my 92 Pathfinder, I do know that.

I have Geico. I pay about $500/yr full coverage in Chicago.

I had a hit and run and they paid quick with no problems. ALl very friendly and easy to deal with.

DairyLand Insurance Co. They specialize in motorcycle insurance. I've never had to file a claim, but they seem like a reputable company. When I got my first bike I went to the Kentucky Farm Bureau office where I had my truck insured and they sold me insurance subcontracted to dairyland. After that I just started going to dairyland directly. I'm 30 and my 01 runs me $120/yr full coverage year round.
