Any tips short cuts that will make the install easier would be appreciated. First, disconnect the battery and remove it from the box. Second, remove the left side cover. You will see a bracket that holds a fuse and a relay, there is one 10mm nut holding this bracket on. Remove the nut and you should have enough slack in the wire just to pull it up out of the way. The module is right behind this bracket and is held in by a little rubber bungee like the one across the top of the battery. Unhook the bungee, remove the connections from the old module and reinstall everything in the reverse order. The 1700 module is in and working great. I little more umph between the rev limiter. Still hits it in first pretty fast but man does she wind in 2nd and 3rd. Haven't let it wind out in fourth to fast for my blood. Almost 90 in 3rd.
