Frozen Nuts and/or Refridgerated Riders 1 Year, 6 Months ago
I've done this on a couple other forums over the past few years. Basically it's a contest to see, well, pretty much how dumb we are.

The rules are, you must ride(not trailer) your bike to a public thermometer, such as outside a bank, and take a picture of your bike in front of it. Lowest temp wins(or loses?). My personal record is 13F, but I lack a picture. Timestamp or date of some sort also, please, current photo's only.

So, would anyone be interested in this for the upcoming season?

Here's my favorite picture, was from a guy last year, in Minnesota.

I'm in... for the last three years I've ridden until they start salting and sanding the roads here in NW Ohio. I've ridden daily in temps down to 15 deg (F). Cold weather riding is sometimes painful! A face covering is a must. I've got to watch it this year - MC tires get hard in the really cold stuff, and mine have 12K on them (Dunlop 404's) so they are a bit slick. That makes starting and stopping a bit tricky, especially if there's even a whisper of ice on the road surface. I'll have new tires on by April...
I think there's only one public thermometer in my one-horse town.

I hate cold nuts. It's not so bad until you get off your bike and the cold nuts drop and hit your leg. brrrrrr

Not me! Judging by the weather forecast here in MA... last night may have been my last ride for this season. Anything under 42 is enough for me to get off.

Rode 20 some miles to a New Years Party one night back around 83 and it was somewhere under 20, I don't recall though.

Riding in the cold is no big deal, I have found that after about 35 deg and 40 mph it all feels the same (at least as far down as 10 degrees, I haven't rode colder than that), the biggest difference is if the sun is shining and if your wet.

Here in my part of NC, the winters have gotten so mild that there really is no end to riding season, just t-shirt season and long underwear + leather season.
The ice storms are the only thing that has interrupted riding in the last 5 years.

If I happen to be out and notice it's under 20, I'll take a picture, although I don't really see much chance for that except for a few bad nights in late Dec/early Jan.

Ummmm... I guess I'm in by default? I ride as much as I can, as long as the roads are clear.

BTW, I don't believe the photo that was posted in MN. A couple of things were off, the bike had no SNOW or slush on the tires, yet there is slush all over the roads. I think it was a good photo shop picture.

I will get you a "Real" photo.. Hell it was only 20 this morning on the ride to work.
