Compared prices on the Yamaha Canada site versus those in the US. Base cost is significantly lower in the US and with our dollar at par and taxes lower I'm kinda wondering where all my fellow Ontarians are going for thier bolt-ons?

Yamaha definitly RIPS us Canadians off . So does Harley Davidson . A Brand new Roadglide ultra is $6000 more in Canada than in the USA and there is no import duty on US goods , and with our dolar at or near Par !! I often use Dreamcycles in Ottawa dreamcycles.net I believe.
They usually come close to Cruiser Customizing etc. considering shipping and Duty , border brokerage etc. or travel to a UPS store acroass the line and taking your chances bringing "it " back across . Use US Post whenever possible rather than the Rip off artists UPS is my one solid rule !

If you'rr looking for an OEM part then search for the part number and find the lowest vendor. If he ships USPS to Canada, or in my case to my US address, then that's your man.

I ship me stuff to Canada as a warranty repair. Works well, however, as I am from Ottawa, I am going to have my oldest son who still lives there establish a CDN office and will send him a good amount of stock as a gift. This wont happen until we are in full production of the revolution product line.
