I'd bet money with the HC you sucked water into the carb. Drain the fuel bowel and put some HEAT in the gas to get rid of any moisture. Really wouldn't hurt to take the carb bowel off and clean it out real good.

well, easy enough to drain the float bowl, drain into a jar, let it sit a bit, see if there is any separation. Just be careful of tightening the drain screw, I've heard of a few who over tightened and cracked the bowl

Ok...pulled my hypercharger of and cleaned it all up...drained the bowl...seemed all ok there.Poured some seafoam (which I have used regularly for years) and have let it run a bit off and on throughout the day as it cant be ridden. She still fires right up and idles real good. Sounds great until you start to roll on the throttle. You can get it to roll on slow and it still sounds great but as you give it more and more throttle it will sputter pop and die about 1/4 way thru the throttle. Would think that bad plugs wouldnt even let you get that far. Fuel pump seems to be working fine..dont smell like its running rich.....maybe if i kick the neighbors dog i will feel better LMAO j/k

This might be a long shot but did you check to see if you are getting a good squirt of fuel from the accellerator pump? Also make sure the slide is lifting properly. You can raise it with a screwdriver (I wouldn't do it with my finger in case of a backfire) And roll on the throttle if it works OK you need to check the diaphram for rips or leaks.

I had a crack in my vacuum line from the manifold to hypercharger that made my bike run bad once, you might check that out for an air leak.

Mine was doing the same exact thing and it was the accelerator pump not squirting like it should. Easy enough to check with the HC off.

I was on my way to work one morning with the main fuel low expecting it to quit. when it did quit I switched to reserve with it coasting down the road and it didn't restart! I found that with the choke full on it would start and idle; but if I touched the choke to push it off she would quit. With it idleing on full choke it would quit if I touched the throttle to give it power. She would sit there and idle fine with full choke, but that was it. Called for a rescue mission. At the shop found the low speed jet completely clogged! With the jet cleaned she ran like Singer; Now with a screen in the tank, an in line filter, and a screen at the carb inlet HOW DID THAT JET GET CLOGGED!!!

If she runs on choke but won't take throttle, you likely have a clogged jet or two. If you can get her to run as long as the throttle is open, then the idle jet is probably plugged. If she idles with the choke off but won't take throttle, then the main is likely clogged.
