WARNING-loose front axle bolt 6 Years, 8 Months ago  
When I removed the front wheel for tire change at 7500 mi.(2001 Roadstar)the axle bolt was loose.The front wheel was never of since I bought the bike new.The pinch bolt was tight but not the axle bolt.Might be a good thing to check along with all other fastner's.

I usually check the nuts and bolts on a new machine after about 500 miles anyway. Unless it was British. Since I was the guy setting them up I checksed them all before I delivered the bike. Never found any loose axle bolts on the Bonnies though
