Unless they are grooved badly you'll be OK.

When you put the new pads on, you'll notice decreased braking but this will disappear as the pads wear into the rotors.

2000, make sure your not accidently riding your foot on the rear pedal and wearing those babies out prematurely. You bought your bike used? Maybe the fronts have been serviced already, and the backs were in need. I've got about 7500 on my bike, and they're still like new(the backs), but I'm a 70/30 front/rear brake user.BB

FYI, dropped you a fresh ten hot off the printer today ,Thanks.

Thanks Bear, put your patch in the mail box today. Should be down to ya by tuesday or wednesday hopefully. I don't use the rear brake much and usually am cautious of my foot as to not ride the brake. I think the wear is probably from the previous owner. And as to the rotor being badly grooved, I don't think it is too bad. I run my fingers along it and can feel slight ripples but no deep gouges. Once again thanks for everyones input.
