I think everything is ok with him, he rode in the Veteran's Day parade with us (PGR). I sent him an email when I saw his bike in the classifieds, and he said that he was thinking about going American. He didn't say if that meant Harley or Victory. He has a good friend that recently bought a Harley, so I think that is where he is headed. I will send him an email and tell him to check out this thread, and he can assure everyone that he is ok.

Oh man sorry to make you you guys wonder what's happening... thanks a lot for your concerns if I'm ok - I can't tell you how much I appreciate your concerns. I love this forum and all the gentlemen (and women) who are on here. No worries guys, I'm doing ok... just CONSIDERING going HD right now, simply because I've got a couple buddies who ride them and I've grown to like them. And this liking has nothing to do with disliking the Road Star, as I still believe it is an incredible bike at 1/3 the price of a HD. But on that note, I know of a couple incredible deals on HDs that someone local is offering to me, deals that I pretty much can't pass up. So I'm seeing if anyone might be interested in my R*... I'm offering it at about $4000 less than I should - this bike will really make someone happy for the price they'd get it at. I'm not out to make money - just pretty much break even toward getting the HD.

BUT if I don't sell it, I'm still as happy as a clam with the Roadie. I love my bike, and will continue to treat it like my baby and love every inch of it. (wow this is starting to feel a little romantic)

Thanks again everyone for your concerns and kind words. I'm still here and will always be a part of this forum for as long as I can help it.

:-DD.

Yeah man ride what you want, I just find it funny that more times than not when someone with a nice bike like yours suddenly goes HD it usually has something to do with what his/her friends ride not that they truely want a HD. Are your friends giving you grief? They would have to have A LOT of cash in an HD to looks as nice as your bike. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Hey DrumDon
I know how to sell it really fast. Take off the bags and dual exhaust and sell them to me: laugh.
Gorgeous bike!

Post the new bike when you get it.
Wish you well!

Actually no, they're not at all giving me grief. They really like my bike. And I really like theirs! If I could, I'd own a Harley AND my Roadie.

Thanks for the compliments

Whatever gets your knees in the breeze. The only machine I would NOT consider for a primary ride would be the old Cushman scooters. As a collectable for resale, maybe.
