Triumph Motorcycles 2 Years, 5 Months ago
It's been sort of slow in the office lately so I've been looking around at scooters.

I really like these Triumphs. They have so many different bikes. Some are really retro looking. Others are big and they are all fast. I'm not sure what I would get. Maybe something nimble like the Bonneville or maybe a sport cruiser like the Sprint ST.

Nothing to take the place of the Road* but in addition. Ideally I would need about 4 bikes to satisfy me.

I like the Bonneville T100 with those peashooter exhaust. Sure brings back the memories and the price isn't bad either. Still has the 360 degree engine so I'll bet the sound is great too.

Between my Harley Street Glide and the RoadStar, I had a 2006 Triumph Sprint ST. It was a great bike, but I didn't LOVE it.

I took a Thruxton for a spin while my Sprint was being worked on and I DID LOVE that bike. What a kick in the ass it was. Sounded right, looked right, handled well, stopped well.

I still LOVE my RoadStar though!!!!

I would have that Thruxton as a second bike in a heart beat.

My first bike in 1965 was a Triumph Bonneville 650 with the engine "in a basket". I don't remember what year the bike was.
Since I had no idea how to put the engine back together I paid a guy who did know and I had a little fun with the bike until I sold to buy a car that I could take girls out on a date.
A year or so ago I saw a Triumph Rockket III Raodster in a Home Depot lot. I was blown away with the good looks and the 2300cc's. I didn't know that Triumph was still in business (shows what I know!).

Anyway, I still think that I made the right decision buying my '08 Silverado S.

If I was getting a second bike, the Bonneville would be in the running. It really takes me back!

I bought a 2001 bonney on ebay a couple of years before my rs. I still have it and get the urge every now and then to take the corners a little faster than I should. It runs great, sounds great, and with the new company building them you don't have to spend every free minute fixin it. No problems at all. I get alot of compliments about the bike and when I ride with my harley buddy peetie,
it pisses him off completely when they walk past his fat bob to look at the triumph

PS He just put a deposit on a Rocket III last week. It will be interesting this summer

The Thunderbird with the upgrade to 1700 cc is an formidable bike. It seems to me that all the Triumhs I see have blue pipes and rust.

I took the new T-bird with the upgrade out for a test and was blown away by the power . About the only thing I don't like about triumph is that you can't get them to sound like a v-twin. Other than that I wouldn't hesitate to own one.
