Here in Wisconsin, we don't have CCW yet, however the state recognizes Utah's CCW so i went through the class and obtained my Utah Carry permit which is legal in Wisconsin. Weapon of choice for concealment is my 9 MM Beretta

I carry all the time. Glock 27 with extended clip and tritium sights. I use Mom's rule for sweaters, "It is better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it." LUBY's restaurant in Texas for example. Any of the mass shooting that have ever happen could have been stopped by one person with a concealed weapon. .40 S&W or bigger, Size really matters.

I live in Florida, where you have to have it completely concealed. Even allowing it to print through your shirt will get you arrested. I carry a Kel Tec P3AT at ALL times allowed by law. If I am able, I have a Ruger P95 9mm in my back pack, or in a holster on my side as long as I can wear a big jacket. I just know the one time that I don't carry, is when I will need it.

My son bought me a Desert Eagle .50 cal with two spare clips for my birthday, its pretty hard to hide, so even with my CCW, it is quite obvious that I carry a cannon with me when I am packing it.

I usually only take it with me when going to the bank or on long trips or when Im on the bike, when I want to be discrete, I just carry my Rossi 6 shot 38 special with 158 grain +P JHP and a full speed loader.

Up here you only need a CCW if you plan on concealing, but you can carry any gun without a permit as long as it is openly displayed.

Like someone else said, depends on where I'm going and how long I'm going to be there. Daily is a Taurus PT111 in 9mm with fire sights and hand loads. Bike trips is the same pistol and a Keltec S2K carbine also in 9MM folded and in the saddle bags with a 33 round glock mag. Rock Island 1911 or ECC 357 depending on what I'm wearing in colder weather. Probably over kill....wait..there is no such thing as over kill if you need it!
