I wish I still had my ACE. I punched the crap out of the baffles and had both carbs jetted on it and never had any issues after. If I had this bike payed for I would sell it tomorrow.

Ain't looking to discuss it or work on it. Just a short vent. I'm done. Back to your regularly scheduled program.

My 2002 Shadow Sabre has 30000 trouble free miles on the clock. I need to ride it.
I love riding it in town. Good trouble free bike and motor. The only thing I don't like about it is all the combined runout or backlash in the gearing. The Shadow will run off and hide from the Roadie Silver too.
I don't know what's happened to your Roadie but I can honestly say I haven't been pleased with mine until I finally got the jetting right. It will run over 200 miles per tank now without going to reserve. It's a pretty good little bike now. I'm glad it's the 1600. Mine ran like total crap when I bought it but I figured I would give it a try because the price,miles where right and the recall work had been done.

Really? That's one COOL keyboard, Coug, with a built in wire cutter/stripper! And I thought I had it good with my printer with the Dremel attachment...
