God dern FLAT tire! 1 Year, 4 Months ago
I got off work eearly today to take a ride in the 77 degree south florida weather and I just decided to check my tire air pressure. The front was good and the back tire read 18 psi! So I got the jack out and up the back end, and there it was, a nail in my rear tire right in the middle. I get out my plug kit and got it plugged and filled up to 40 PSI, no leak. Every thing I read says this are only good as a temporarly measure and I should take it in to the Stealer to get it properly fixed. Sounds right to me, what do you think?

Thanks

Not fixed...... REPLACED!

Tube or tubeless, you are asking for trouble if you have it patched.

If the tire is well worn, replace it! If it has good tread left, put a tube in it.

150/80x16. Come on out to Sebring and I'll fix you up with a Kenda Kruz for $120.00 installed, and if you want to go with a 160/80x16 add $5.00. Just call and give me a couple of days to make sure I have one in stock.

Thanks Clifford...I love the Sebring area but I don't think it would be a good idea to ride out there with a plug in my tire

+ 1 on the tube. If you have good tread left why replace it?
