Oh, Believe me.I have no intention of buying the bike at that price. As I mentioned before, Ride Now has a reputation of being very unethical here in the Phoenix Valley. Just do a Google review on them.

I just went in because they are close and wanted to see a R* close up and see how it fit. I would buy out of state before I would go to them, They have a long known history as the place to avoid.

But anyhow, I was not asking if I should buy, I just wanted confirmation to my beliefs that they were asking waaaaay too much. I would rather buy new out of state then give them my money for their overpriced product.

I bought my '01 with 14,000 miles last October for $3600. Found it on ebay. It was at the HD dealership in Reno, NV. They are some great people, and never acted as if I was buying an inferior bike. If I was ever to buy a brand new HD, I'd go see them first! They even held it for me for about two weeks while I put the $$$ together, and were more than understanding when I had an extra day's delay when my granddaughter was born. The guy who got it out of the used showroom and helped me load it up was really impressed by the R*, and said he'd like to have one for himself!

Anyway, all that to say that there are some good dealerships that aren't out to rip people off. There are also some really good deals out there if you're patient and keep your eyes open. Good luck to you in your search! Once you find yours, you'll love it!

I like this one. If he will take under $9000 thats a good deal.

Sweet! and if he would drop under $9K, would be AWESOME! Nice find!

Take your bike up to Canada, you'll get twice as much for it!

That "Dealer" is notorious for over priced bikes, they are for the first time bike owner or folk that need financing for the bike. Im in AZ as well and just picked up my RS 1700 a few weeks ago 04 8K miles Pristine cond. $5000 I looked at more than 30 bikes Private sellers of Craig list and a few Dealers. I saw 20 Nice RS in the 5K range and a few a bit cheeper from private sellers, and yea the dealers were 1500 -300 K higher for the same bikes. Their pitch is they "tune er up" and such. Buy a bike take it to a non dealer shop have them go over the whole bike save thousands. A great guy for this is Steve the owner of Cycle Dynamics great work Fast 1/2 the price of a dealer shop He is across the street from MMI. He has worked on all of my dirt bikes and now my RS.
