Here's my opinion like or not.

I kinda like the bike. It's a start to a bobber and I think someone could make it their own by changing up some more things on it. I would black out the tires as I hate white walls(sorry don) I also would do something different on that front fender along with a 21" wheel & narrow tire.

I see it as a manufacture seeing a trend and trying to capture some of the market. At least Victory see's what's out there. The R* family has not really changed in 12 years. Maybe yamaha should take notice!

But let's face it we all have different likes, so to each his/her own. If ya want it go get it and ride it proud!

Had I ridden a Victory before the Star I probably would own one.
I have no intent on buying any bike that is anything other than stock as can be. I like a fresh pallette to work from!
I'm not saying they didn't put together an interesting bike, they did. Just not for me.

I don't think I'll see the High Ball in any local dealers as it would most likely be illegal in Ontario because of the apes.

The distance from the end of the handle bar grip to the top of the seat when depressed by the rider must me no higher than 15".

I'm not overly impressed with THAT Victory, although there are some models I find quite appealing like the Vegas and the Vegas Jackpot. And I like the "star trek" one.....kinda gawdy looking but i like it lol.

I just saw them at the bike show in NYC yesterday. I think they look pretty good. Lots of people looking at them. I especially liked the gas tank on the Vegas model. So I bought a tank on Ebay today for $125, going to try and put it on my 01 Roadstar

I like the look of my midnight far better than that Victory, i just think it looks a whole lot what we are all riding on..the big v-twin - look at me - i am a nasty motorcycle look.. i have never even been on a Victory but i considered them before i had seen the roadstar.. the Midnight just shook me loose when i saw it ... now it is mine and always will be unless i leave it to my son ..

I like it and the fact that Victory is paying attention to what A LOT of people are going towards today. They have some really nice touring bikes as well. So they are basically doing what HD has done but for less money. I say good for them. I would buy that bike, it looks like a really cool start to something custom or is cool the way it is. Victory's are a bike that I have never owned but they have been catching my eye more and more lately. There are a number that go through the auction each month and the prices are only a little higher than what the metric bikes are bringing. The difference is Victory's seem to have more of a unique custom look. I could see one in my future.

Ride one and you will really want one. Unless Yamaha comes up with a gang busters follow up to the Roadie I'll be looking damn hard at Victory next time.

I just prefer to let me customize my bike not the factory that's all.
